drains 2002 Magna

Yahoo Message Number: 110279
When I winterized last fall I on this new to us coach I was extra sure to get everything drained. We used the coach last weekend and had to re-winterize. Something occurred to me: should I have to manually remove the hot water heater drain plug to drain the heater or should an electric valve take care of it? It was still full so if it needs removed no problem but if a malfunctioning valve then I'll hunt it down and repair it. Also, there is a momentary switch on the overhead console near the door labled something like: "air purge". Is this to drain the air tanks or to blow out the water system? I can't find anything in the books about this switch. Maybe Rich with the 2002 Magna could help.
Thanks,

The hot water tank has to be drained manually. Also a good time to rinse out the deposits on the bottom of the tank.

The air purge switch purges accumulated water in the air tanks by the front axle. Have someone watch to see how much water comes out. Should be none to very little.
