Electrical Issue

I can drive 1500 miles with out any issues, but then the problem Re- appears. The engine shuts down while warming up and driving. I always manage to restart after several attempts. I replaced the ignition solenoid and inspected the ignition. When attempting to restart, the one noted issue is the engine temperature reading is 0. Until it finally gets to the actual temperature, the engine will not start. Hopefully someone else has had this problem?
