Fuel guage out! probable sending unit and limited access means dropping tank, ouch! anyone experience this or idea of cost? tks, J.T.

I just replaced the fuel line on my 95 Magna. Had too pull the top two 8D batteries and crawl in to access the top of the fuel tank. All the goodies on top of tank were accessible. Not easy but a hell of a lot better than removing the tank. Dean had a post on the group that detailed the job. FYI, I'm 66 and 210 pounds and was able to crawl in there. Just have a really good light source it's kinda dark.

Last time I had to have one dropped on my 9 Intrigue to change fuel pump it cost me $500 in labor + parts

You maybe able to get at it from the propane bay. Might be easier then a drop of the tank....
