Lyle,

Welcome to the site. You'll find this site to be a useful tool. I don't own a new coach so others can assist you on part of your question. I will tell you that after buying a 3 year old coach, well out of warranty, I have been treated by CC as though I'm their best customer. I've utilized their tech line regularly & have found it very useful. I have been able to get any part I have needed from their parts department. Since no one had answered your question yet I hope my partial info is helpful.

Lyle,

We too are new to Country Coach and have an Intrigue Suite Serenade being built right now. Any questions, please contact us. We looked hard at Monaco, but for reasons of quality, and turning radius, ordered an Intrigue. We will pick up our coach from the factory.

Lyle,

Just ordered an 04' Inspire and we will pick it up next month. I have been in contact with the factory and service already to get information and they have been great. Every question has been answered including questions about problems other Inspire owners have encountered to date. I was very surprised at their honesty and there details as to how they solved the problems. Country Coach has treated me like gold and I have not even received my coach yet! Good luck.

Lyle: Welcome to the CC group!

We ordered our Intrigue in Oct. of 2000 and had delivery in March of 2001. We've had nothing but good service from CC. We bought our CC because of my parents' excellent history with CC for over 8 years as owners. We, too, have had a terrific experience. (We're fulltimers.)
We've been to one "area rally" and one "Homecoming" (the BIG rally.) Both were excellent places to get service (all our service needs were taken care of that we requested...you get 3 with some obvious limitations) and learn all kinds of things about your coach. I think one more "Battery Class" and we'll have that down! It was terrific to share ideas with other CC owners and make new friends.

Also, if/when you go to Junction City for service, they offer classes to the "waiting group of owners." Those are excellent since they are small, so you can get your questions answered.
Like Monaco, CC in JC has places for hookups (incl. cable at some) and a place to wait during the time your rig is serviced. They pick up your rig at 7'ish and return it at 4ish. We've enjoyed our stay in the area, taking advantage of all the sightseeing opportunities.

Don't worry about problems...everyone will have a different experience. We had slide leaks, but they fixed them fine...no problems. We've been in snow, rain, and 104 degree temps with no problems with the coach that weren't of a minor type.
I might recommend a trip to JC to see Davis Cabinets if you find you want to add storage inside. We had them make a lovely cabinet that goes in front of the passenger seat in an "empty access area" that folks have found. Not sure if in the 2004 if CC has the same design or not. Folks have put photos on the Photo Section of this board to see what I mean.

All in all we love our Intrigue and have looked around for anything better and find you can't beat it for the storage, comfort, and handling.
Enjoy!

Jim, et al,

Thanks for the nice post. Sounds like we made a good decision. We are looking forward to meeting folks in this group but hate to lose contact with all the fine folks in the Monaco group. Oh well, life goes on.

Lyle,

Just curious, what made you decide on a Country Coach instead of another Monaco?

Larry,

In a word, perceived quality. Hope I perceived correctly. Also a floor plan than we had been looking for for some time and could not find in a Monaco.
