Installing front AC outlet Magna?

Yahoo Message Number: 113715
I want to put an AC Outlet in the front of the coach to run an electric heater on a circuit that does not go through the inverter. There is a course an outlet at the bottom of the dash, but it is tied into the inverter. Does anyone know, in a Magna of this vintage if there is a convenient wire / circuit near the front of the coach that I can tap into for this purpose? Does the front air conditioner 120v wiring, for example, pass near the very front of the coach? Otherwise, can anyone suggest a reasonably simple way to install such an outlet?

On my 2000 MAGNA there is a "spare" breaker in the breaker panel. That "spare" breaker goes to a "J" box located in the "electrical bay" in the center of the Coach. You might be able to route a cable from that that location to the front of the coach.

When I replaced my LP refrigerator with a residential refrigerator I extended the "refrigerator" circuit behind the drawers and put an outlet below the dinette window. This gave me a non-inverter circuit to run a heater below the table.

On my 1999 Magna there is a dedicated 20 amp covered outlet in the electronics bay, I ran romex from the passenger seat to this outlet and use it for my heater.

Rich,

I used one of these and some Romex to a junction box I added in a cabinet. Cut a hole in side of coach. It is used for power to heated tile floor and I plug into the power pedestal using good extension cord.
