Intellitec lights inop

Yahoo Message Number: 113762
Starting a week ago and until yesterday the Intellitec controlled lights would all blink off for a minute or so, then by operating any switch, they would come back on. Yesterday they blinked off for good. Along with them went the Silver Leaf Monitor. When turning the engine ignition switch on, the Silver Leaf comes back in both front and rear locations but goes back off when ignition switch is off. Have tried the Intellitec over ride switches and checked all DC fuses. The switch back lights operate normally. House batteries charged. Suggestions please.

Thanks, BnBesler

BnBesler, had a similar problem on my 07 Intrigue #12153. Resolved it by removing individual units at the wall, disconnecting and reconnection.

And the control modules CAN go bad. Had a fun experience where lights would go on all by themselves at all hours of the day... and night. Worst problem was the module that went bad controlled the Intellitec functions that included the fresh water dump. So every now and then not only would all my lights go on, but my fresh tank would drain all over wherever I was parked. Good times! Thanks Premiere RV in Junction City. Problem found and solved!!

We are currently overnighting behind Premier RV in Junction City. A few purchase condition issues plus the mysterious intermittant 12 volt lights. Will share the findings.

Just out of curiosity, what is the status of the building that burned (toward the back of the property)? My coach was in there and is now being repaired by Gary/Jim and crew. The last time I was there, they hadn't dragged the hulks out because of insurance investigations. That had to be done prior to beginning the rebuild.

I plan to pick up my coach sometime in early March.

Thanks,
Dave Glen

Spoke to Gary yesterday. The building is mostly cleared and waiting for a salvage company to haul away the last of the hulks. They seem to be very near the permit/building process that takes so much time with local bureaucrats. Premier seems to be very busy and prosperous. They're doing a fantastic job for me.

The fire marshals are still investigating. We talked to Gary last week and it appears they are getting closer to coming to a conclusion as to the cause of the fire. We pick our coach up around the 1st of February. Then we have the fun of reloading and getting ready to hit the road in early March.
