High probability you have two places to go for help:)!
1) The arms are chrome, so looking for a good quality re-chrome shop. They'll probably walnut or glass bead blast the arms, then chrome them. (I had a busy with an Alpine in San Diego. Tell me that a tip he received, which worked well for him, was to call around to area Harley Davidson shops and ask them who the recommend for chrome. As Harley owner's are fussy!).
2) The mirror head is a plastic chrome. A body shop that spray paints, can usually do a good job on stripping and respraying the chrome.
We'll be doing both probably 2019. We had the passenger side mirror head hit by a Fiver going out of a tight park. Do not believe he even knew it, as he did not stop. We were gone at the time. Scratched it up pretty bad, just glad they did not break, as when we first bought our coach, I bought Monaco Surplus Three Mirror heads, and had a devil of a time wiring the third mirror into the control unit. (Like the top third mirror, to angle up while backing, for tree limbs.) Both of our arm's needed re-chrome when we bought the coach - just has not worked up high enough in the priority list to accomplish. I also believe I recall a post awhile back, that you can do an exchange for your good arm's (That need re-chrome.), for already re-crhomed units. You order them and they keep a deposit until you send in the arms that need new chrome. They inspect, and OK the condition, then refund the arms. Now, I can not recall where I read that:)! So, maybe cal Velvac and ask them?
Please update us with what you end up doing.
Best to you, and all,
Smitty
