Radiator Seems Different

Always walk around and inspect coach as she's getting to ride height. Never heard/noticed the following until today:

Sounds like the radiator is "cycling" (lack of better word) on and then off, and she's really working while all we're doing is idling to get to ride height.

She's been sitting, plugged into shore the last 30-45 days without travelling anywhere. We've had nothing but direct sun and 90-100 everyday pretty much hitting her all day on the back end of the coach.

Interestingly enough we're bringing her to ride height so we can make the 2 hour drive down to Premier for another round of Intellitec issues.

Should i be concerned about the more-unusual sound of her radiator area "cycling" on and off, or just watch all those gauges as i head down the highway. Checked all coolants as usual, and everything is good.

Hi Snowcat. Adding your Year, Model, and if needed, engine. Along with even Coach SN. Would help in formulating an answer:)!

(Engine? Some models, Intrigue, could have Cummins ISL or CAT C13 or above.)

Is your OTR (Over The Road AC) on while idling? If so, that can cause the Radiator Fan to kick into higher speeds. (I'm assuming that what you heard as cycling, was the radiator fan kicking in. Though suppose it's possible that compressor was also kicking in to provide air.)

Those are my thoughts, will follow to see what others come up with, and with what you determine to be the cause:)!

Best to you,
