Carbon Monoxide Gas Alarm Replacement

Yahoo Message Number: 116006
I have a 2004 Allure that is equipped with a CCI Model 3400 CO detector. It recently started to "chirp" and I discovered it has exceeded its detector life and needs to be replaced. CCI is no longer in business and it appears that Safe T Alert has a replacement. Has anyone replaced the CO detector and what brand and model did you use. Also any replacement problems and tips? Thanks

Google Safe T Alert for the exact replacement.

Be careful, there are different models based on whether you have a solenoid gas shutoff valve on the LPG tank. I know, I bought the wrong one.

Safe-t-alert propane alarm

Model 30-442-P  BL for flush mount in black

Bought on Amazon for $53.57

This is the propane alarm that on my coach sits below the refrigerator. There is a second alarm that is for carbon monoxide that is in the ceiling of the dining area.

Hi Dan...I only need to replace the CO detector in the ceiling. The propane detectors is still OK...Lou
