On our 04 Allure, 31017, we had to remove the bracket that holds the mud flap, to remove the filter cover for replacement. (We removed out mud flap permanently, so do not need to do this now. And different coaches may not need to do this.)
And caution on Filter Barn, IF they have not changed their business inventory management practices. I ordered four fuel filters from them, all of which were past their Shelf Life Date. They did ship me other ones, that were not yet expired. But since I had bought these two pairs of filters to carry for spares on the road, the Shelf Life's were too close to be practical for that usage.
So I now go into the local Cummins Shops, and use the Cummins Power Club to buy my filters. A bit more expensive, even with the discount, but always have a few years left on Shelf Life Date, so work well for my usage. I buy a new pair every year, put those in storage, and take out the oldest Shelf Life Date to use during annual maintenance. So I do FIFO by date of Shelf Life expiration, and this keeps my safety stock fresh:)!
Best of luck to you,
Smitty
