Fan in Stereo Cabinet No Longer Bonkers

Perhaps I was a bit too quick on the trigger here....after further contortions, I located
the offending squirrel-cage fan that is intended to pull hot air out of the bottom of the
stereo cabinet just above the small side window. Tried tightening the mounting screws
to no avail. The fan is just noisy/loud or "was" noisy/loud as I have disarmed it and
saved my marriage at the same time.
