re-carpet front room/dining area

Hello, I have a 2005 / 40' Gats "Genoa" Inspire #51381. I would like to replace the carpet with the same type, quality and color as the original.

Can anyone tell me the:
1. approximate cost
2. how many days will the job take and
3. recommend a shop for the job it in the Sacramento area.

Replaced carpet with same type. I purchased carpet thru a friend for $1100.
Bob Vinson provided the pad.

Bob Vinson replaced, and did a great job. He had the coach for a week.
Don't remember labor cost but it was fair. there is a lot involved in this, more so than a house. Carpet at The slides are critical, so you need to find someone familiar with motor homes. . Some pieces need binding at edges. This all takes time.

Carpet replacement takes about 30+ hours, the + depending on what the installer finds along the way. Materials $200 to $300 plus the carpet cost. There are several days involved including tear out, making pattern for cutting new carpet, binding, delivery of the carpet, installation etc., probably 4 or 5 days. This is not a job for a regular carpet installer as the motorhome knowledge is critical to being able to do it right. It is my understanding that carpet type is important too.

In the Bay Area Mike at Mikes RV and Marine in Santa Rosa has been superb for us. While he did not do our carpet, he has been local go-to guy for us for years, and always done very good work. He has talked me through some problems on the road with our old coach as well. Cares about his customers. Like and trust him and he is reasonable. They are open Tuesday through Saturday. They also do mobile work. Wife is Christine. Son is Richie who is also very thorough.
