Aqua heat issues

Yahoo Message Number: 116714
Good morning Country Coach owner,
I have aqua heater that doesn't ignite the fuel when running. I see raw fuel dripping out of exhaust pipe. Does anyone know what I maybe up against in resolving this issue?
Thanks for any input,
Larre

Good chance this is a AH-450(?).

When was the last time it was serviced? Points replaced?

Have you checked the lights on the control board for errors?

Does the blower motor start up, and then the diesel burner does not start? Or. Do you not hear any blower start up?

Does the light on the inside control panel stay lighted up, or does the light go out?

In between tries, especially if you see diesel fluid, wait a long time for things to dry out before trying again.

Answers to some of those questions, might lead the knowledge on this board into a path towards solutions:)!

Best to you,

I believe that your fuel nozzle is bad. You need a service to replace nozzle and clean the combustion chamber. Also replace your fuel filter and then run system...it will billow white smoke for approximately 8-10 min. Then run clean after...mine did the same symptoms.

Fairly easy maintenance if you are handy with some basic hand tools. Good luck!

No diesel firing could be many things. You really need to follow a logic flow chart thru many checks. The others have given you many causes, it could be any one of them. If I were you, I would become a Premium member on Roger's website ( I think $50 a year). He has an exact trouble shooting attachment for diesel that won't light. So I'm sure you could solve it with his website and help. He is very good with responding to everyone's problem. He just wants it all public, not private messages, as he wants everyone to see and learn. He's great.
