refrigerator 2000 Intrigue

had repaired with all new inner chamber 2 yrs ago Yesterday I went into the refrig to check all The freezer was not up to freezing temp cold not freezing I did notice below the refrig there is a switch the warning light is not lit does that mean anything The refrig part was cold but the temp outside the rv is cold now in N J nites in 20s days in the 40s Thank you

Let me suggest you try running the refrigerator on propane for a day or so and see if the performance improves as far as cooling. I seem to get better cooling out of mine that way when it's really cold outside. Good luck and safe travels.

First thing is to make sure the entire unit is defrosted. Even tho it looks clear from the front, It could be iced up behind the rear wall in the freezer compartment and that will take some effort to get ice melted.

If you are sure there is no ice behind the rear wall, then put a light bulb in the outside coil area to get some heat on the coils. Heat is needed to make the ammonia circulate in the system.

20 at night is cold enough to hinder proper operation of the cooling unit.
