Time to move on 2007 Inspire for sale

Yahoo Message Number: 117115
Well, the time has come for our beautiful motorhome to find another loving, caring family. She has been with us for the past 8 years and we have traveled throughout most of the USA. We are not getting any younger and long trips are not in our future. We surely hope she finds a good home. Pics and additional info are on the RV Trader website. You can also contact me directly via phone, text, or email. I have all MX records since I purchased this coach in December 2010. Asking 109K.

Nice job on the RV Trader add, and good luck on finding a new owner for your gal... Pinged a link to a friend in San Diego/Chula Vista area (Who knew former Inspire owner, Stan Canaris(SP?) well:)!). They've started their look for a retirement traveling experience machine...

Smooth sailing for you into the next method of adventure!

Thanks Smitty. We plan to keep traveling but closer to home and in a smaller rig.

Smitty and Jim Seifert and all,

We did know Stan Canaris and really enjoyed hanging out with him and his dear wife Brenda. I don't have any news of them and would love to know about them presently. Thank you.

Hi Mary,

I've never actually met Stan, but we shared some CC stuff over the years in relation to the San Diego and Chula Vista area mechanics, BusKote, etc.

The gent looking for a retirement rig for his wife and him, knew Stan professionally, and was on an email chain with a small group from the Chula Vista and Bonita areas. I've sent him an email to see if he has any info on Stan.

I believe you knew, as we posted it on this group, that Stan had had some medical challenges. But I do not know how he's doing.

Hope he pop's in and just gives us all an update on how things are going Post Inspire:)!

When you Google Stan, you've problem seen he has a High School Stadium named after him - so well thought of, rightfully so from what I've determined and my friend confirmed, in the region.

Will update you, and all if I get any info on him:)!

Best to you, Stan, and all,
Smitty

Thanks, Smitty. I hope we can learn how Stan and Brenda are doing.

Are you traveling in your coach some this winter or a lot? We stay put in MN, but we'll be in MI some this summer and out east for a few weeks in the late summer and fall. We may actually make it to the south or southwest sometime a year from now or so for a few weeks too.

Wishing you and your wife a lovely time wherever you are!

I asked my friend that knows Stan better, and he said he had not heard anything new since he last got out of the hospital. But, he said he would send an email to another friend that should know more about how Stan is doing. Will update as I learn more...

We usually do a two month run to Arizona this time of year, at Lost Dutchman State Park now, heading to Catalina State Park near Tucson on Thursday. We then usually do a 4-5 month trip later in the year, and due to family dynamics - that has not been full planned out for the year... We do know we'll spend 4-6 weeks at Pacific Shores in Newport, OR. As we bought a lot at auction (For tax taxes.) last year, and Deb is excited about putting her touch on the landscaping/garden (She does miss her Garden when traveling:)!).

Suspect you're happy to see the Vortex has exited your region:)!

Best to you, and all,
Smitty

Thanks, Smitty. It'll be nice to know how Stan and Brenda are doing.

Your traveling sounds just about perfect! Thanks too for the parks you know and enjoy. I like to copy folks who've stayed places before we decide to stay in them. Family dynamics have a strong tendency to help us define where and when we'll be traveling too. Family members are so very important.

We bought a lot last summer too for the first time, this being in Acme, MI, which is part of Traverse City, MI, one of the prettiest places in America. It's in northwest lower peninsula of Michigan, on Lake Michigan, and the water truly is turquoise and navy blue. The rv park is called Traverse Bay RV Resort, a really well done and beautifully landscaped with great trees, flowers, grass and nice black topped roads and cement or paver pads for the lots. We've stayed there for many years now and then, and this lot came up with a good price, so we decided to become owners and really like it. We rent our lot most of the time out as we are only there for several weeks a year. We too are talking about putting some money into it with pavers and darling gardens! It's sure fun!

Oh yes, that was cold! But, you know we here in these cold states are prepared with several different levels of warmth in our North Face jackets/coats. We attend lots of hockey games and have coats for the really cold arenas and coats for the lesser cold ones!! Not kidding though I know it sounds funny. I bought new boots this year which so far have really proven to be able to keep my feet warm. There are mitts that are wonderful too.

Thanks again, Smitty, and it would be fun to see you and Deb sometime in our beautiful country!

Best to you and indeed, all!
