Front Ceiling Light

The front ceiling lights on our 2008 Allure 470 will not turn off at the switch by the passenger seat or the switch by the kitchen sink. The only way it will turn off is the coach main power switch at the entrance door which turns all the power in the coach off. Anyone have a similar problem?

Thanks.

Robbie,

Try the reset switch in the rear passenger side bedroom storage cabinet.

I'm not sure about the 2008 Allure but in our 2007 Intrigue the Intellitec lighting system has an emergency feature in case the intelligence controller fails or is disabled. In our coach there are two switches on the main intellitec controller located in the bedroom closet. If they are turned "on" they will bypass everything and turn on our overhead lighting. I've inadvertently bumped one from time to time when I've taken things out of the closet. See if this is the case in your allure.

Thanks for the reply. I saw the switches in closet but didn't know what they were for. I will try that tomorrow.

Thanks for your replies. That was the problem. The shelf covered up the switches. One of the switches was inadvertently changed when moving things in the cabinet.
