Ignition Relay

Yahoo Message Number: 117294
For maybe the fourth time, I have gone through every page of both Coach manuals. I could not locate the ignition relay which I need to replace. I feel certain that it is the cause of my stalling!

It would be a great help if someone has located their relay.

Thanks

The ignition solenoid that is activated when you turn on the key is in the front run bay below the driver's seat on my 2000 Magna and is probably in the same place on your coach.

If it is the problem I might suggest a Cole Hersee 24213. This is a 200 amp solenoid with silver alloy contacts. Note that there is a diode installed on the solenoid and it needs to be installed in the proper orientation.

You might check that the ground side of the coil contacts on the ignition solenoid is connected to a good ground. On my coach the ground side of the ignition solenoid coil has two green wires going to ground.

The relay back by the rear bumper is for the starter.

After further research, it looks like the ignition relay is also the starter relay? They could be the same item? Also, the 100 amp ignition solenoid-which I replaced last year-is referred to as the Ignition Solenoid Relay? This can be a bit confusing to the layman. Anyway, the stalling issue I have been dealing with for nearly two years points to the Ignition Relay. The puzzle continues.

Thanks again

Hi, I am replacing my fog light assembly in my 2000 Intrigue. Does anyone know what fog light was originally used. Or what new led assembly would fit?
Thanks

I replaced mine with Nilight LED 36W, 6.5 inch Flood/Fog lights. They are not an exact fit but very, very close & provide lots of light when properly adjusted. Hope this helps. Oh , I almost forgot, they were ordered from Amazon.

They fit much better than anything else that I found. You cannot tell from looking that they are not an exact fit. They look very good.

Good luck,

Dan,

I ordered, received and installed the driving/fog lights you recommend.
They look great, and bright.
Thanks again!

Be careful States are outlawing these for on road use. NC just passed a law on the matter.
