We are selling our 2007 Country Coach Magna which has been professionally maintained since new. This is a quad slide coach with a 525HP CAT (pre DEF) and needs nothing but the destination of the new owner. Interior and exterior of the coach is in excellent condition as well as the mechanical condition (engine, transmission, chassis, genest, etc. Available for sale ($227,000) or possible trade, plus cash, for a 2007-2008 Country Coach Allure Sunset Bay. Coach is currently stored (inside its own 24' x 54" bus barn at our winter home in Nevada.

Hey Mike - Are you going the Allure for the length (Assume a 37' unit?)? A friend of mine just looked 37' Allure in El Cajon outside of San Diego. Said he felt it was a clean unit. (Now, when I asked him about age of tires, batteries, maintenance records, etc. - he gave the patented answer from all smart men 'Huh?'... :)!) In his defense, he was more of a 'Looky Lou' then actually a buyer. (He's about a half year away from retiring from the Aerospace company I used to work with:)!).

Good luck on the sell of your unit...

And don't let any other Magna owner's you might know (wink, wink), question what you are doing!! No, the Allure is not a Magna - was never intended to be! In many model years, the Allure was a KISS approach to above average quality in a DP. Toss in the chassis, and well, even more so:)! Hard to ever look at the purchase of any CC, as a step downward... It all comes down to what is important to the owners at that given time...

Hold your head high, as in the future you drive off into the sunset in your Sunset Bay! (Just stay out of the bay itself!!).

Best to you, and all,
Smitty

Hi Smitty,

Thank you for the reply. Yes we are looking to downsize from our current Magna and the Allure Sunset bay looks like a possibility without having to go the SOB route (some other brand):-).. Yeah we know that the Allure is a little further down the food chain from the Magna and Affinity, but for the price point of the coach I don't think CC did a too bad a job and it is still in the CC family. You are correct when you say it all comes down to what is important to the owners at that given time. Nice thing is that we don't have to sell the coach since it meets our requirement of having fun in style, just wish it would fit into the smaller parks. We have bought into the high end RV resort route for the past 10 years, been there-done that. Now it's time to get back to a simpler and less congested RV environment - called the great outdoors.

Did look at the Sunset Bay on the website located in El Cajon and sent the owner an email asking all the usual questions, tires, service, options, why they are selling, etc. Hope to hear back from them as we will be in Southern California for Easter and may have time to do a look see if it is still available.

Safe Travels,

Mike
