Air leak from auxiliary compressor?

I found a leak coming from where my thumb is touching a fitting on Thompson auxiliary leveling pump. I had just finished running the engine for about 15 minutes for various reasons with the air leveling on and level. Is this normal to have a hissing of air from this fitting? I'm not sure exactly what the function is
