I'm trying to recall the mileage at which you should have the slack adjusters checked/adjusted as you get in the 100,000 range,
Any knowledge on this?

I had Colton adjust valves on my Cat C13 at about 70K miles, and all the valves were fine except for 1 cylinder being a little off. With good access, they also fixed a valve cover oil mist leak, and replaced the slobber tube which gets a little spongy at the connection point to the engine, so all worthwhile doing I think.

Gang, my original need was not Slack Adjusters (my mistake) but Valve Lash Adjustment. Went to my Intrigue Owners Manual for my CAT C-13. The Appendix, Chassis Section, Page 7.31 says every 60,000 miles.

Your Slack Adjusters should automatically adjust. It also should be on the list for annual maintenance. Its not a big deal to check.
