Not the alternator after all

Yahoo Message Number: 117998
Of course right after I installed the alternator, it was reading 13.5v-13.8v both on the dash and Silverleaf for a good 10 minutes.

But once I got on the road this morning, I was back to the fluctuation 11.x-13.x, mostly in the lower 12v's.

At this point I was guessing there is an issue getting voltage to the dash. I later confirmed by testing the voltage on the start battery while running, 13.8-9v.

I did reclean the start battery terminals, and all cables connecting to the battery. All good there. I inspected the big fuse, and it's clean-clean and looks good, and voltage tested there reads good.

Seems like there was a similar thread on this recently, is there some place I should start looking at?

Thanks,
Wes Owens

Update -
So, under the dash I have 2 fuse boxes, they both have a separate 6 gauge wire supplying power.
One reads full alternator voltage while running, 13.9v
The other reads the lower voltage. This one has wire "1P", which goes to the ignition solenoid. Love having the manuals.
So, seems like it's going to be the ignition solenoid.
Seems like it might be wise to make a jumper wire to connect the two boxes together for my drive tomorrow just to make sure nothing critical looses power, to get me to where I can source a new solenoid.
