2008 Magna entrance door light

When we use the keypad to unlock door, the PS map light comes on very briefly illuminating the entrance stairs. Problem is, it goes off in about 2 seconds. The light is very useful when coming home at night. Would be interested to know if anyone has an idea about adjusting the burn time.
