Awning question

Recently acquired  a 2000 Intregue 40 DP. I never thought to ask about a center support. Does it have one? I see a rod in the basement with a 90 degree bent on one end and a configuration on the other end that I could not describe LOL is that a support bar?

I suspect the rod you found is the awning rod for a Zipdee awning.  It is by far the fanciest awning rod you will ever see.  The contraption on the opposite end from the 90 degree bend is for releasing the latches on the awning rafters so you don't have to have a ladder to reach them.

Thanks thats what the guy I bought it from said, but like you said its the fanciest one I've ever seen. Also this awning seems quite long for no center support
