Location of Gar ber fuel filter for hurricane hydrohot

I have a 2002 CC Magna that I would like to change the fuel filter on my Hurricane heater. The filter in the compartment with it is actually the radiator coolant filter. Could you tell me where the Hurricane fuel filter is located?
Thank You

On our 2001 Intrigue, it's right on top of the Hurricane unit. I changed ours earlier this week. On our unit, it's a small clear plastic filter.

I have a 2002 Intrigue.

My Hurricane does not have an internal filter. Previous owner added an aftermarket external filter in-line right before the Hurricane unit.

I am investigating fuel issues as the Hurricane unit will not stay lit (flame out).

You could have air in the fuel line.  On my Hurricane, there is  small valve on the top of the unit that allows unused fuel to return to the tank.  You can crack that valve slightly to allow any air trapped in the fuel line to escape and be bled back to the fuel tank.

My furnace has an inline fuel filter on the fuel line coming to the tank.  It is similar to the one you describe.  There is an internal filter that should be changed on an annual basis when the annual maintenance is done.
