headlight replacement

Reports of deficient coach headlights were familiar to me, but I was unprepared for just how pathetic the headlights on our new to us 05 Affinity are.

Changing to BRIGHT lights - maybe aircraft landing lights, lol - has become a priority.

Not sure where to start, so any advice, experience, info you can offer will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

I have an earlier coach (2002 Intrigue) and had EXACTLY the same reaction you had to the headlamps.

How was this even considered CLOSE to acceptable?

Went to O'Riely's auto parts because my headlamps are the same as a late 80's, early 90's Ford pickup.
They had the oem, the super, and the ultra bulbs for this application. Of course I chose the ultra. They warned me that these may be too bright.

$53 and about 15 minutes installation later, yes, they are better. I might even call them adequate. But bright? Too bright? Uh, no.

for now, they are OK, and I am leaving them. But I am still looking for something that will light up the road so I not only feel safe, but confident.
