Water pump rocker switch

Recently purchased a 2001 Intrigue 36 foot with 2 slides. We have been RV'ing about 18 years and this is motorhome number 4 for us. While figuring the systems out, I noticed when you turn on the water pump via the rocker switch, you cannot turn the rocker switch off and the pump will remain ready to use. The only way to get the rocker switch to turn off is to turn off the main battery disconnect. My question: is there a timer where the pump power will time out and shut off or do I have a sticky relay or bad rocker switch? The coach has 2 rocker switches, one on the panel above the main door and one in the bathroom. The coach does have Silverleaf if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance, Christian

I believe the rocker switches control a relay hidden away somewhere. Both of the switches in my coach cause power to the pump to be completely shut off. One of the switches "sticks" and has to be activated several times before the integrated light in the switch is extinguished and power to the pump is shut off.

Thank you Tom. I was guessing that's how the system would be but I've been surprised by system designs before. I'll search for the relay and clean the switches to start.

It is called a latching relay. One push of the switch latches the relay putting power to the pump. Another push de latches and the pump is not powered.
Sometimes I push one to turn the pump off and nothing happens. I then try the other switch and it works. . Not really sure where the relay is bt I think I remember seeing a relay behind the panel above the door ut that might work something else.

I to have issues with switches. My coach has three ( one above door in main panel, one in bathroom and one in wet bay ) I have to push any of the switches several times to turn pump on or off. Is it the relay or one of the switches causing issue? Where is the relay?

The research I have done says it's behind the control panel with all the switches above the main entrance door. I have to push mine several times as well but have not had time to troubleshoot further. It is not a standard looking relay but is included in the control unit for the system.
