Muffler pad under rear drivers side bumper

I have an exhaust leak in the tailpipe padding that is wrapped around the tailpipe(muffler?) underneath my rear bumper. It looks like it is made out of insulation with a canvas like covering holding it together and in. Do you know where I could find a replacement or anyone who may be able to fix this for me? Having trouble finding a muffler shop that is willing to tackle it.
Thank You

Are you saying you have a leak in the muffler or tailpipe.  If so that needs to be fixed.  I had to replace the muffler on my 2000 Magna.  Cost of the muffler was about $400 and the labor was about $550.  If you have a tag axle the muffler may be easier to install since there is more space around the muffler with a tag axle coach and the labor may be less.

The wrapping you described is similar to insulation pads used to insulate pipes and vessels operating at high temperature.  Those pads used fiberglass or similar cloth and high temperature blanket type insulation.  It is possible that a contracting business that insulates high temperature equipment might be able to tell you a supplier for the material.  You can expect it to be pricey as it will have to be custom made.  I did a quick search on the internet for companies that might be making a blanket material as you describe.  You could try contacting Insulfab.net, thermaxxjackets.com, or https://mid-mountain.com.
