2002 Intrigue 36ft Shocks

Looking for recommendations for front and rear shocks on our 2002 Intrigue 36-foot which is different of course in weight and weight distribution from the 40-footers and 42-footers. We are not experiencing any porpoising, but we are feeling every bump and seam in the road. Admittedly, we are a little heavy in the rear. We'd like to hear what shocks are recommended, what shocks others are using, what settings if they are adjustable, and how satisfied you are with what you used specifically on the 36-foot model. Thanks for your inputs.

What shocks do you have now?  I replaced the fronts on our '01 36' Intrique a couple of years ago with Koni's and was a significant improvement from the stock originals. I might be able to find the part numbers if you're interested. PM me.

If you are feeling bumps and seams in the road, the first thing I would do is get your coach weighed and then adjust tire pressures accordingly.
CC recommended 120 in the front and 115 in the real. With our 40ft, I run 115 in the front and 110 in the rear.

I installed Road Kings a number of years ago so I don't know what people are running now as RK is out of business.

Thanks for the inputs and comments so far. After the original shocks wore out (I think they were Konis), I went with Road Kings custom made for our coach according to Lonnie at Road King. They were terrible and Road King rebuilt them. We were bouncing like crazy. The 2nd round of Road Kings were no good also. We kept the Road Kings in the rear and went with Koni SP-3's in the front set to Medium. We weren't real happy with them and eventually went with Koni EVO in the front that were acceptable and that's what we've been riding on for the past 5 years. The ride is getting rough again with thumps and bumps and that's why I'm looking for recommendations based on the actual experience of others who have a 36-footer (different from the longer coaches). And yes, we have adjusted the front and rear tire pressures based on the measured weight and the tire manufacturer recommendations.
Thanks again, Steve, #11382, 2002 Intrigue 36-ft

If you had the EVO’s for 5 years and were satisfied, why switch to something else?  Don

The Koni EVOs that we have on the front were OK but not great. That's why I wanted to hear what others are using on this model and length. I was hoping that there could have been some changes or improvements over the past 5 years. And ... as I stated, the rear shocks are currently Road King and since they were supposedly custom made, there is no model number, What model Konis or other brand would be best for the rear? Thanks again, Steve.
