Fun question/answer about 30A vs 50A RV service

How much more power does 50A RV service provided over 30A RV service?

Common answer:  66% more power - WRONG! 

30A 120V service provides 3,600 watts

50A service is really, in the RV world which does not use the 240V potential between the two hot leads, TWO 120V 50A circuits for 12,000 watts - 333% more power (if the load is perfectly balanced between the two hot leads).  In this case the NEUTRAL wire is carrying ZERO amps, not 100 amps.
