Slide out adjustment

Hello
I have a 2006 Magna 45 Rembrandt whose passenger side front salon slide out has sagged downward to the point that the rubber corner blocks on the outside of the slide are rubbing the body molding and causing the paint to chip off the molding. Can someone advise how to adjust the slide upward. I’m told there are 3 rollers under the slide which can be adjusted but I need specifics on where they are, how to get to them and how to do the adjustment. I’m guessing HWH could do it but I’m not keen on taking it to them if someone can tell me how to do it since I prefer to do maintenance myself. TIA!

HWH puts you on a 3 week waiting list for tech call backs. I would get on that list ASAP. I know because I also have an 06 Magna and the leveling/slide control module took a crap. This happened 2 weeks ago and I'm sure I'll be getting a call from HWH next week. In the meantime, hwhcorp.com has a ton of information on it and you can even download any of their service manuals. You'll have to know which system is installed on your rig. I'm sure you have the same as me, a Series 2000.

In the last 13 years I have never not been able to get quick help from HWH if it's an emergency (meaning something preventing me from driving). Another option is someone like Kevin Waite's partner Butch (back on the job as I heard he was) who can provide remote support. Of course, if it's driveable, get it to someone like Eric Olstrom in Tucson or one of the places around Junction City/Eugene. Most of them can handle HWH issues.

Thanks gentlemen for your help. I did all these things before coming to the forum: contacted Kevin but he said there is a jack screw with a nut that needs adjusting but there is none and that is wrong information. I contacted Butch but he said he only deals with electrical not mechanical. I then contacted HWH but they have me on a “month or two” wait list. I did look at the HWH website but could not find the information for the slide outs on their website. I then contacted Brian Moto and he gave me the info about being rollers that need adjusting and told me about where the rollers are but I have to find them. So I have some progress. I’m not stuck anywhere with the slide out so I can take my time finding the roller location. Cam Daddy, if you can show me where it is on the HWH website, I’d go looking there. I’ll try searching for the series 2000 in the meantime.

Spent a lot of time on the HWH site but have found nothing about roller location, access to them or how to adjust. If someone knows then help would be appreciated

I recently helped a friend with a Monaco that has the HWH hydraulic slide systems.  He had a ruptured hose that we had to replace and subsequently trim out the synchronization of the slide.  We had ZERO cooperation from HWH with help on the problem.  They did supply the parts, quite slowly.
I removed the panels the from the ceiling of the storage bays to access the hose for replacement.  I remember being able to see the roller system but, didn’t pay a lot of attention to it as I was concentrating on the hydraulics.  I believe there was a “jacking bolt” used to position the rollers vertically.  Sorry I can’t be of more assistance.

Best of luck.

If you still need input from HWH then you can also try contacting Paul Maddox; he's a HWH representative based in Arizona and he's very responsive. (He's helped me and he's also very active on the iRV2 forums.) Email him at pfmaddox@att.net or call 602-549-3638.
