Sleep Number Bed Repair - yes, you can get parts buy you have to ask

We had an air chamber for our 2007 ver. Short Queen Sleep Number Bed develop a leak.    Sleep Number Beds are the epitome of a hard sell multi level marketing scheme.  Replacement parts ARE NOT on their web site and you have to talk to a customer service rep.  WHen you call you are automatically shunted to "sales" where the hard sell is on to replace your entire mattress for $1600 - $4000.    You need to be very clear that you just want to order a "replacement air chamber".  They will want your name and address to "look up" your original order.  If you bought your Sleep Number from Camping World or it was OEM with your coach, you do not have a warranty.  For awhile you could replace the mattress and airchamber and pump/remote for $300.  They have taken than option away and now you can only replace the air chamber for $156.00.  The Air Chamber is easy to replace. Eventually you will be allowed to buy the replacement air chamber.  Be persistent.  You may need to call back to a different rep because they all seem to be on commission.
