How to tell if a 2001 CC Intrigue has the dreaded aluminum radiator/

Hello,
I’m a prospective CC owner and trying to figure out if the 2001 intrigue i am interested in has the troublesome radiator.  The coach looks like a real gem -light use with less than 25k miles. Coach #11280
Thanks,
JJ

Use a magnet - does not stick to aluminum.

Thanks for the reply about using a magnet to identify if the radiator is aluminum.  I had read that previously. The magnet did not stick to the 2001 coach I was looking at.
However, I recently spoke with two different service individuals at two of the prominent CC  sales and repair organizations in the Junction City, Oregon area about the situation.  They both concurred that some of the older coaches had aluminum radiators but not the dreaded ones.  They said the radiator problem for the greatest part from what they have seen is limited to coaches in the 2004-2007 vintage.
So at the end of the day anytime you are purchasing an older coach you better put a line in your budget for those unexpected situations.
All The Best,
JJ

I had to replace the radiator on my '02 which was built in Aug. '01. The radiator fins were not leaking, but the interface to the tanks. The interface was corroded for lack of a better word and could be repaired but would be warranted by the radiator shop for  6 months. I decided to go with a new one based on the cost of labor to R&R the radiator again.
