A/C circuit breaker

I am having occasional circuit breaker issues with my front A/C. The breaker pops for some unknown reason. We are parked in San Diego and the outside temp is near 90. The voltage is constant 120V and nothing else is on or running. Do breakers get weak with age? Should I be looking beyond the breaker? With the rear A/C on and set on low fan the voltage drops to 117V, normal??

Thanks in advance,

Steve, it's normal for voltage to drop a bit when a load is applied. Yes, breakers can go bad and you can easily replace the one for your rear unit, but I'd also want to make sure you didn't have wiring problems causing an intermittent problem. I'd check that circuit for loose connections or any evidence of a short.
