Keyless Entry

Does anyone have more specific instructions on how to reset the keyless entry? I am the third owner and don't have the preset code.
Thanks

My 2007 Allure has a Trimark security/door system however without the discrete key pad.

If Trimark system the "authority code" is sometimes set at 4444.  Other wise you can ground out the system and reset a new authority code.  Link here  http://www.trimarkcorp.com/en/media/eask/SB111%20Discrete%20Keypad%20Code%20Setting%20(9-Wire)_Rev2.pdf

Hope this helps,

Here are the steps you can take to reset the keyless entry system on your vehicle:

    1. Locate the "learn" or "program" button on the body control module (BCM). This is usually found under the dashboard on the driver's side, but it can also be located in the trunk or under the hood.

    2. Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery.

    3. Wait for at least one minute.

    4. Reconnect the negative battery cable to the battery.

    5. Within five seconds of reconnecting the battery, press and hold the "learn" or "program" button on the BCM until the door locks cycle (about 15 seconds).

    6. Release the "learn" or "program" button and follow the instructions in your owner's manual to add new keyless entry codes.

If the listed instructions don't work, it might be a good idea to contact a reputable and trusted local locksmith in SE20. They should be able to assist you with resetting the keyless entry and provide any additional guidance or recommendations. It's always best to work with a professional locksmith rather than attempting to fix the issue yourself, as improper handling can cause further damage to the system.
