Hydro-Hot Major Leak-Major problems

Hello everyone
Started working on my 2007 Inspire after our winter in North Idaho and ran into major issues with the Hydro-Hot. As I connected the city water to the bus, water started to gush out of the back of the Hydro-Hot.  Was able to locate the problem and fixed it.  Broken 90 degree fittings in the back of the unit.
Once that problem was fixed and water was reconnected to the bus, now the expansion tank in the front of the unit is filling up with fluid coming from the Radiator Cap on top of the unit.  I got a generic radiator cap from Autozone and replaced it but that did not fix the problem.  When I turn the water off (regardless of city water or RV water tank via water pump), of course the leak stops.
Any idea what I'm dealing with here?
Thank you so much
Dave

Thought I would post an update to my own major problem.  My unit is the hydro-hot HHE-200-9E. I thought I had properly winterized this unit and due to issues beyond my understanding the waterloop coil has failed. There are 4 options dealing with this:
1. replace the whole system with a new Aquahot 450d at the cost of $8700 + Labor
2. replace with a refurbished unit for $6700 + labor
3. Replace the tank with a new tank for $2900 (if you can do the labor yourself)(shipping is around $300)
4. Replace the tank with a refurbished tank for $2400 + $1500 core charge + shipping (if you can do the labor yourself)

John Corrillo at Heatmyrv.com located in Colorado provided the above information and used to work for aquahot company

We have a 2000 CC Intrigue with the factory installed Hurricane System.
We are the 2nd owner and have had the coach since 2007.  Never had any issues with the Hurricane System.
Now I want to check the "fluid" in the system.  In the engine compartment there is a large SS tank with sight glass....is this the tank for the Hurricane or is it part of the engine cooling system???  I've always thought it was for the engine cooling system but since I can't locate any other tank for the Hurricane, I'm thinking this must be it.
Any informed thoughts???

On my 2003 I have the Hurricane and it is only the furnace.  The large tank in the engine department is the correct tank for Hurricane system.

In our ‘01 36’ Intrigue, #11238, theHurricane shares the engine coolant. There is no separate tank.
