Generator shut down due to "low Diesel" alarm

Hello All, I have a 1983 CC Concept and de-winterized it a couple of weeks ago. When I started the generator up it ran for a few minutes and then shut down due to "low diesel fuel" alarm. It is supposed to shut down if the fuel tank is 1/4 level but the fuel tank is full and the guage shows full as well.

I checked for loose wires on the fuel gauge and found everything to be OK. I thought this might be a bad sending unit but if the gauge shows full, I doubt that is the problem. After looking at the schematic, I found the generator shut-off board that has several diodes, trasnsistors etc and think this is probably the problem....Any thougths?

Thanks,
