Detroit diesel

I am in the process of buying a 1998 Magna with a 330 hp series 40.
Would appreciate tips, positives or negatives about this engine.

We have a 96 Magna with same engine. The only problems we have had is a valve in the fuel line broke last year and it took two tries to fix it.
Otherwise, fine.
