Dash air/Front Door problems 2000 Allure

I purchased a 2000 Allure New. The Dash Air never has worked or cooled properly. The volume of air coming out of the vents is low Even on high. Lazy Days moved the location on the vents on the Driver side and relocated the duct lines to try and increase the air volume. They have replaced just about everything on this a/c unit. They even installed a deflector plate under the coach to force air into a/c Unit. I had them to remove the deflector under the coach because it was actually causing the coach to freeze up after driving for about an hour. The volume of air coming out of the vents after driving for an hour was like have the fan running on super low. The cab area is always hot during the summer time. The temperature in the cab area always stays in the mid 80's during daytime driving, eventually the cab starts cooling down just before dusk. Also, the Freon leaks out all the time. Does this happen to any CC Owners?

Also, my front door has bubbles on the seams on the lower part of the door. The door has been replaced once and repainted twice. The front door also has a lot of wind noise and leaks. Please let me know if You have experienced the same problems?

I have a 2000 Allure also. I do not have the problems you describe.
I did have the door replaced within a year of purchase. However, I do not have a lot of wind noise.

Regarding the freon leak, that is something that is repairable. Any good tech can find it and fix it.

The low volume of air flow indicates to me a blockage someplace in the duct work close to the fan. Does the fan run at different speeds without any problems? In other words can you hear it change speed?

The dash air on my coach will not cool the coach well enough for me on a hot day. The area is just too large for it. When this happens, I run the generator and use the roof air conditioner(s). This does 2 things beside cooling the coach. It exercises the generator and it lets the Cummins provide power only to the drive train. I think my fuel mileage increases slightly.

Thanks you for the speedy reply. I can feel and hear the change in the fan speeds. Lazy Days and a CC factory rep took the dash off to try and find blockage. The air volume is better when we are not moving. When we travel on the interstate the volume of air coming out of the vents is restricted. Dave, this is my 4th coach, and I have never used the roof a/c's to keep me cool while driving. The roof a/c's on my coach seem to keep the area behind the driver and passenger cooler, but doesn't help in the cab area living in Florida. The factory rep told me to close the pocket door in the kitchen area, and put a fan on the floor forcing the air towards the cab area. I called Specific Climate Systems 1-800-433-1740, the manufacture of the dash a/c unit. Ronnie told me the duct system in the coach has been modified by CC. Maybe that is part of my problem?

Dave, the Freon leaks seem to be coming from different areas of the coach. They have replaced leaking condenser, mounting brackets, leaking lines, used wrong clamps on AC hoses from CC factory.
