Air Compressor pressure

Yahoo Message Number: 9767
Tried inflating my tires using the air compressor fitting in front driver-side bay on my new CC Allure 36'. Could only get up to 95 psi in the tire. Can someone explain? Air brake gauge shows both at 125psi while doing this.

Joe,

There is nothing wrong with your system. The air is probably plumbed in to the Aux tank (your gauges are for the brake tanks only) and there just isn't enough volume to pump up your tires.
I added an extra tank for more volume so the dryer/compressor/purge cycle is longer and even with that extra tank it can't pump up tires much beyond 95 PSI. I run my tires at 90 front, 95 rear. If you have weighed your Coach, the Toyo pressure chart is in the files section of this Board.
Good luck...
Tom
