Test Message Board review results

I thought I would give the group the results of the comparison of this Yahoo style board vs. the "category" style test message board that I set up for evaluation.

We had 145 members register and reviewed the test board.
Of those, 57 posted messages.

24 commented on the new format:
20 preferred the new format

3 preferred to get messages via email 1 felt the new format was not "user friendly" So, there you have it.

Bill, I also pickup my messages via email thru my cell phone. Are you saying that the new site would or would not be accessible thru email? Thanks, Candace Hollick 05 Affinity 6370

Hi, Candace,

The software package that I used for the test did not have that feature, but I believe that others do support that option. That would be the best, then everyone would be happy.
I will continue to look into other packages and see what options are available.

I am just wrapping up work on a new website for my community, and it is "Miller Time".
