FMCA Plate mounting question

Hi, just a quick question on mounting the FMCA plates on the rear of the coach. I don't have an attached ladder like my old coach so I can't figure out where to attach the plate. I sure HATE to drill holes on the fiberglass, but I see no alternative. Has anyone had a problem with cracking of the fiberglass due to vibration or airflow? Where do you mount your plate?

The reason I ask is that when I mounted the state license plate on the front of the coach it vibrated like crazy and setup a one heck of a noise in the coach [I do have the Lexan 'coach armor'], so I didn't want a repeat of that with the FMCA plates after having drilled holes.

OBTW: those of you that thought I was dumb for asking about dumping the air while in storage can just have a nice laugh at this one.

I used some very heavy duty velcro to mount our FMCA plate to the body of our Magna, even though we have a ladder. I pull it off while we are traveling and stick it back on when parked.

Thanks to Les, John, lcasebeer, and Ed for your replies and Ideas. I really like the trim tape idea , I saw that the folks that make up the plates of FMCA use a special double stick tape but it must really be special by their price.

Larry, We have a ladder on our coach but I didn't want to obstruct a set by mounting the FMCA plate on the ladder. Another coach owner tipped me off to trim tape. This is the tape that is use to mount trim to all sort of vehicles. You can get it at NAPA or just about ant auto parts store. It does a great job and will not harm the coach. Good Luck.
