GPS Garmin iQue

I bought a Garmin iQue at Comp-U-Plus.

It included the following items:

1 Garmin IQUE 3600 PDA / GPS Handheld Receiver 1 Sandisk 256MB Secure Digital - SDSDB256768 1 Garmin Auto Navigation Kit for iQue 3600

Total amount: $573.55

It is a palm top type and it is the 5th GPS I have had and it is by far the best even compared to the lap top type programs and usp gps antenna systems. It is easy to use and can be easily transferred to the car or to the RV. You can set in your easy chair and program trips and stops etc. It is accurate and loud enough to use effectively. It is one heck of a lot cheaper than the ones installed in an auto too.

Also a good palm top with all of the goodies of addresses, spread sheet, etc.

The 256MB chip loaded the detail of about 70% of the western US from the computer cd provided. One needs a computer to down load the details into the memory chip.

Excellent system for what I use it for.

I have had my Garmin IQue for about 6mo now and it is my 5th experience with computer-map-GPS packages. It is by far the best all around system. It easily transferrs from coach to car and it is still a palm size functional computer. Total cost on the web was $525 about 6 mo ago.

It talks to you, gets you in the right lane before you make a turn or an exit, can be set up so if you get lost you do not make U-turns..., and has a super package to find all kinds of services. You can set in your easy chair and learn how to run it and program you travels.

Al,

I agree with you on the ique. My experience is about seven months.
What we like is the upcomming information in the display. It is nice to know what roads are before you get there. The vocal instructions allow concentrate on the dirving. I have tested the system around home and developed a real confort in what it will do on the road. I also love the "recalculating" message and make a uturn.
