I am now getting a red warning light for the left rear coach while traveling. Must be borderline, as it sometimes flashes off, or even stays off for a brief distance.

Manual says it indicates low airbag pressure.
Fortunately, the airbag, when parked, will raise and hold the coach, if necessary, for days.

Is this an indication that my leveling valve or linkage is failing?
Currently located at Dexter Shores outside of Eugene, and heading to Davis Cabinets for desk measurements on Thursday 7/8, then over to Newport for 10 days.

I had a similiar experience as you are having. It ended up being a ride height adjustment issue. When proper ride height is established your light will go out & not come back on. I would not replace ride height valves unless you are unable to adjust the ride height. If you do a search of past posts you will find the complete adjustment process explained.

I had the same symptoms a couple months ago. It happened as I was driving to my appt. at the Junction City service center. When the service technician arrived to move the coach to the shop the first day he immediately noticed the ride height was out of wack. It turned out to be a ride height control valve failure. Fortunately our extended warranty covered the cost of replacing both rear ride height valves - about $500.

Last summer we had a ride height valve go bad on left rear of coach, called Junction City and they shipped a new one, cost was around 115.00 for shipped part and freightliner did the install for 1 hour of labor. Just had the right rear fail last week, have received a new valve from CC and will have it installed at next repair facility we find that can do the job while we wait.

The original valves were built with inferior materials, we are told by CC techs, the replacements are an improved variety and should last a lot longer according to Haladex, by the way the Haladex part number is 90554241. You might be able to find replacements at local truck service centers.

We continue to have intermittant fan problems, CC replaced our fan controller while we camped there for over three weeks, when we left the radiator water temp over temp light came on, a new problem for us, we found that CC had failed to secure the 2 wire connector to the hydraulic valve which interfaces the controller to the fan hydraulics. There is a small screw that hold this two wire connector in place and it requires the use of an offset screwdriver to properly tighten the screw. I guess the CC tech failed to bring his offset to work that day so he just plugged it in and let me worry about the consequences. I used duct tape to temporarily affix the plug until I could get an offset screwdriver. Fan still seems to be intermittant as I will get over temps before fan comes on, gearing down and increasing rpms seems to help with that problem, until I can get to someone who knows how to troubleshoot the controller or send it back to CC for reprogramming.

The saga continues.
