Dryer vent

I found my dryer vent on low volume too. I removed the outside cover, and the flap device, then turned the machine to the dry mode. Out came a bucket full of fluff even though the boss keeps the filter clear. I reached up inside the vent hose with a flex brush and removed even more lint. When reassembling. I left the flap out, which in ten years of full-timeing never caused a problem with bugs etc.
The dryer improved big time. The mess on the outside cover reqired cleaning every couple of months which was no big deal.
