CoachNet Great!

We just had our first need to use CoachNet's service and found it terrific under difficult circumstances. We were in Theodore Roosevelt Nat'l Park, the Northern Unit (natch), and found our Intrigue didn't start the morning we wanted to leave. With only 1 emergency phone in the park, the rangers helped us call CoachNet, and CoachNet went to work finding us a quality tow company who towed us 75 miles to the nearest facility that could help us. We were very concerned being towed that far that we would be towed by a quality company, but CoachNet convinced us they would only send qualified folks, which they did. It took almost 4 hours to hook us up to the tow truck though! It took all day to get us to the repair facility in Dickinson, ND, but there, again, very quality folks took good care of us. They stayed late to make sure we were comfortable in their lot, then promised to get us off ASAP the next morning. It was only the starter solenoid, so by 9:30 we were back on our way. We're grateful for CoachNet's policy and the quality folk they have working with them.

I will second your praise of Coach-Net. They were great when I needed help. I had a cell phone and they called me back twice to inform me about the tow service arrival time and that they had called the Cummins Service Center to make arrangements for the arrival of the coach. By the way Jan, if you would have had to pay for your 75 mile tow, it would be the cost of 3 or 4 years of Coach-Net subscription.

We've used 'em twice in five years and wouldn't be without 'em. The big difference between Coach-Net and others is that they have RV techs on the phone to give you advice so you can possibly get going on your own, rather than wait for a service truck. Clickon http://www.coach-net.com for info.

Wouldn't be great if CC would use their influence to have all those faulty solenoids replaced so we don't get stuck and need to be towed, on our maiden voyage from the dealer in Fl to the west coast ours failed within two weeks of buying the coach. We called CC, they wanted to have us towed, we were in Tucson near a Cummins repair center and I insisted that they send out a mobile unit to fix rather than break the coach down for towing. They eventually relented and did that, the Cummins repair tech was great, he came out after dark and with his portable shop with million candle power lights made it look like day. He had the starter replaced within 45 minutes.
Luckily, ours had failed in the parking lot of a campground so we just camped til he arrived. But, again, it appears that Cummins should replace all these flawed solenoids before we get stuck someplace and need to be towed. This has been a common problem for many coach owners.
