Dash AC Failed

Yahoo Message Number: 10983
Hello,

Our dash air conditioner decided not to cool today. I would guess this is a "Freon" discharge type of problem from my auto experiences.

However I notice that the fans behind the grill on the passenger rear side of the coach do not run when the bedroom AC switch and/or the dash AC switch are on and calling for cool air.

Question: Does anyone know whether those fans should run even if no "freon" is present on this over the road AC system? Maybe I have an electrical problem?

Another less pressing question. I have a recirculate position on the temperature slide selector. Also there is a another toggle switch on the dash that switches between recirculate and fresh air.

Does anyone know why two switches for one function?

Thanks for any help you can give.

Dean;

We also have a 95 Magna and just had the dash a//c fixed.
first, in the electrical compartment outside under the drivers window. there is a fuse on the right hand side, very last one in the second row. I believe there is a wire attached to it #86. This is a 20 amp fuse, see if the little green light is on, if not replace the fuse.
This is in the a/c compressor clutch circuit.
I''ll email more on the dash stuff tomorrow.
