Florida RV Service

Yahoo Message Number: 11106
Iooking for recommendations on a service shop in central Florida. I would like to have the ride hight checked/adjusted and get a front end alignment if needed. (and maybe shocks replaced)

We had been using the Coach Care folks in Ocala but have lost faith in them over workmanship issues.

Anyone had good results with a shop in Florida doing this kind of work?

Thanks,

JimC

Jim,

How manyh miles do you have on your coach.
I also have a 2002 and I thought I was a long way off from replacing shocks.
I thought the people in Ocala were great.

Try Ken Roberson in Lakeland, Eagles Pride in Titusville or Lazy Days in Tampa. They all do good work however Lazy Days has CC tecks in their shop. In fact you can ask for David Runnond. He just finished handling all my new coach items in JC and he was headed back to LDs last saturday. This time of year is a good time to go to LDS but call ahead. They like you to make an appointment even when they are not busy which is July and August.

Hi Jim,

For coach chassis service, I recommend Travelynx in Cocoa as the best here in Central Florida. They are a long haul charter bus operator, they service all their own buses, service other buses, motorcoaches, emergency vehicles and the like. Many of the techs there do double duty as Travelynx charter bus drivers, so they experience and understand handling and driving issues very well. I've been impressed with every one of the techs who worked on our coach. Karl Moberg runs the shop and is a no-nonsense dirty-hands-on type of manager. They are not listed as a CC service center, probably because they don't do RV housework, but my experience is that Karl and his shop have utmost respect from the CC warranty department. Judging by the number of big rigs that I usually see in his shop, a lot of other coach owners here share my opinion.
Travelynx is located about two blocks off US 1 at 355 Williams Point Blvd, Cocoa, FL tel. 800-226-5969. Ask for Karl.
