Leak in 2000 Allure

Yahoo Message Number: 11188
Hi All.

New to the group, but not new to Country Coach ( Hi Bill G.) . I've been reading the posts and find them quite interesting. I learned about the group from a fellow traveller as we were discussing our respective problems.
My current problem is a water leak someplace between the slide and refrigerator. It started last year. During the winter, I re-caulked all the roof vents, pipes, etc. and thought I had the problem solved, however, back in this New Brunswick, Canada weather, the leak is back.

The water is coming in at the bottom of the living room slide and down the outside wall next to the slide under the refrigerator. I've tried deflecting the water at the edge of the awning and putting silicon around the gasket at the top of the slide but that didn't stop it.

Any suggestions?

I don't know what type of coach you have (most of us sign off with model and Number for this reason) but my Intrigue had two leaks that possible might be same as you describe.
One was water through the refreigerator outside access door, immigrating across the bottom of the refer and down the facing inside the coach beside the drawer under the refer. I put a slanting 3" high dam in the rear of the refrigerator in the access door area.
two was the sink drain hose under the slideout and behind the HWH mechanism. A bugger to repair the first time, (two techs four hours) and second time took me about an hour and a half, now that I know what and how to do it.
good luck - if you have an intrigue one of these may be your problem. good traveling,

Hi Ron & Molly

I wonder if you would be willing to give us a summary of the proceedure you have for the sink drain hose repair. I have an Allure but I think it will be much the same as your Intrigue. Those 'under slide' repairs can be a bugger!

Thanks for your help.
