Dry Camp Exhaust Extension

We also were going to dog shows and had to dry camp. It was a restriction in Ca. that you had to have one of these to use your generator. We never had any problems. The Venturi has a flue action that draws the exhaust up without any back pressure. The people that use the flexible pipe tubing on the ground are the one that have back pressure and will burn the valves. They also burn the grass whre they are laying and some sites wuld not let you use this type since they are polo grounds and did not want their grounds damaged. We have used this system are two other motorhomes and plan to use it in the future on our CC. Also I took the spark arrester out of the end of my pipe as it was getting very clogged with suet which could cause damage.

We will be attending the rally in July.

Hey Bob & Judy,

I'm guessing you have Chows by your email address. We have Belgian Tervuren. Seems like a number of CC owners have show dogs. Wish we could attend the July rally, but not this year. But we will make it to Perry next year. Do you take all your dogs to the rallys? We only have 3 and they go everywhere with us.

Yes we do have chows. A blue male and a black female. Used to show all the time but couldn't take the politics and nasty people. Don't get me wrong. We met a lot of wonderful people as well.
It is just a few bad apples can ruin everything. We wouldn't leave home without our furfaces. They go everywhere with us. We spent 3 months at Thousand Trails Preserve in Pacific City Oregon in the motorhome and they loved it.
They can't wait for the next trip. We are going to leave early in July for the rally and stop at 4 different campgrounds along the Oregon coast.
I think it will be a great trip. We had a Monaco before the CC and went to their rally last year in Albany, Or. and it was great. Hope CC's is as good. We are from the Hi Desert in Ca. (Apple Valley) and try to take as many trips as we can.
Really it is a lot more fun for the dogs and for us to go to campgrounds then to the dog shows.
No stress. We are retired and so far have not had any major problems with the CC. It is a 2000 Allure.
