JUNCTION CITY

We were in Junction City for a couple of nights this week, staying in the Guaranty courtesy parking/camping area which was quite busy!
Guaranty had two new CC units on their lot, an Affinity and a special edition Intrigue. That's it, just two new units. There may have been another in the show room.

Based on comments from CC tour guide and confirmed by Guaranty Sales delivery of new Magna and Affinity units are now out to February 2005. Average time for an Inspire on a dealers lot, three days. I guess CC is doing something right!

The paint shop is working 24/7.

Prevost conversions are now in their own building near the airport and demand is rising, Buddy Gregg must be pleased with the deal they made with CC.
Guaranty has a number of used 1999 and 2000 Intrigues available, presumably recent trades and a few Magna's, I think 1999 through 2003 vintage. These are my observations, not a detail accounting by Guaranty.
Damon is on track to become salesman of the year again in 2004 with Bob Liemandt, Fred Edwards and Barry Griffiths fighting for second place. Sorry, cannot reveal my source of this information but it is based on CC information.
Based on comments made during the Magna factory tour it appears interest in projection TV systems is slowing down.
New Affinity unit was seen to have sensors on sides, front and rear. When Cruise control engaged, sensor warns if distance between vehicles front, rear or sides is too close for safety!
The CC lounge is still not equipped for wireless Internet but someone had started a petition to get CC to install the service. Let's hope CC listens and acts.

It was a good trip in spite of the weather.

I just read that Guaranty had a rally at Newport, Oregon

recently.

Maybe some of the new inventory was over there??????????????
YUP, right you are...they only had a Magna, Intrigue, Allure, and Inspire there though...no other ones we saw. We just happened to be at OR during it, so we got to see coaches. I wish CC would find room to put overhead cabinets in like the HR has! They have huge overhead cabs in all their slideouts. Nice corner computer desk we saw in a Monaco, too. I took photos. Thanks for the info on what you saw and heard at Guaranty! We didn't see much either...sorry we missed you, but we got out EARLY from our CC appt...actually, they just deferred us to Feb. for the electrolysis repainting, so we'll be out of the coach then.

Why did Country Coach defer you until Feb. for the electrolysis repainting?

I have an appointment for 2 weeks, starting Oct 25th, for electrolysis repair. They said that they could do the repaint even when it gets cold.

the new Allure has them, they are trying for a more residential look and therefore no cabinets up front. You also loose storage under the sofas due to the X slide on the PS side and the inflateable matress on the DS. TWI 2004 Ovation 11731
